ScrippsMesaFireworks

Scripps Mesa Fireworks is a dedicated non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that aims to enhance community spirit through its signature annual event, the Mira Mesa 4th of July Celebration. Founded almost 50 years ago, this cherished tradition brings together the diverse residents of Mira Mesa to celebrate Independence Day. The event is entirely funded by local businesses and community contributions, ensuring that every dollar raised supports the spectacular fireworks show.

The team is composed of passionate local volunteers who commit their time and effort to organize and execute the event, fostering a strong sense of community involvement. Scripps Mesa Fireworks exemplifies the power of local engagement, as it operates independently of government funding. Each year, the organization shares its financial transparency by detailing the funds raised and allocated for necessary expenses such as permits, security, and cleanup.

By participating in or donating to Scripps Mesa Fireworks, community members are not only supporting a beloved local tradition but also reinforcing their commitment to a vibrant and united community
