Empowering Wellness is the Auckland-based practice and education platform of Miria Aman, a massage therapist with more than 27 years of experience in hands-on care. Based in Milford, the practice combines clinical knowledge with an individualised approach to support wellbeing, with particular expertise in breast health, lymphatic drainage, pregnancy massage, and pre- and post-operative care. Miria’s training spans the UK, Australia, Thailand, and New Zealand and includes remedial and sports massage, Mayan abdominal therapy, traditional Thai massage, lomilomi, and kinesiology.
As the practice evolves, Empowering Wellness is extending its work beyond one-to-one appointments, which are currently full. Planned offerings include Miria Method professional training for practitioners and The Boob Job, a digital talk on breast health and lymphatic care. Miria also gives talks and workshops, including Love Your Lymph, and is available for speaking engagements. The online store offers lymphatic support products such as Cecily Braden brushes, oils, and Boob Loob.
