Mi Rincón Favorito is a bookstore and “Cuentoludoteca” in Coia, Vigo, where reading, play and respectful parenting come together. The space is designed to accompany children, young people and their families as they discover books and explore their imaginations. Visitors can browse the online shop and bookstore, enjoy the story-and-play space, and take part in a varied programme of workshops and family events.
Activities include sensory workshops for babies and toddlers, accompanied by an adult, as well as creative workshops for children aged one to eight. Sessions feature themes such as animals, stories, costumes and nature, with reservations available online. The programme also includes author presentations and book signings, storytelling and shadow theatre, and seasonal events such as family costume contests. A reading club offers another way to share a love of books.
Located on Rúa Angel Llanos, near Miñoca Park, Mi Rincón Favorito is open Monday to Friday, with free outdoor storytelling on Saturdays. It offers families a welcoming place to read, play and create together.
