MIS

Melaka International School (MIS) is a private international school in Melaka, Malaysia, serving students from age four to 18. It is an approved Cambridge International Examination Centre and offers education across kindergarten, primary and secondary levels. The kindergarten programme welcomes children from age four, using play, interaction, hands-on activities and field trips to support language and number literacy. Primary education, for ages six to 12, provides an interactive academic foundation designed to encourage self-directed learning. Secondary students, generally ages 12 to 17, follow a comprehensive curriculum preparing them for the University of Cambridge IGCSE O Level examinations in Year 11.

MIS highlights 21st-century learning, inclusive education and scholarships among its offerings. Students can also take part in co-curricular activities, school events and the World Scholar’s Cup, while counselling services support the school community. Located in Melaka, a UNESCO World Heritage City, the school reports recognition under Malaysia’s SKIPS quality standards and describes itself as the country’s first Eco-School, certified by WWF for environmental and sustainability education.
