Misericordia di Campiglia Marittima

Fraternita di Misericordia di Campiglia Marittima is a nonprofit community association dedicated to helping people in need through practical and personal support. Its mission combines emergency assistance with a wider commitment to solidarity, volunteering, and community wellbeing, including encouraging young people to participate in voluntary service.

The association provides ambulance and emergency response services through trained volunteers, with equipped vehicles and assistance for people with mobility needs. It also offers social support and first-aid services, including wound care, injections, blood-pressure checks, and respiratory function testing. At its medical centre, residents can access family doctors and specialist appointments in areas such as cardiology, orthopaedics, psychology, nutrition, ultrasound, obstetrics, and gynaecology. The association highlights modern diagnostic equipment, prompt appointments, and fees aligned with hospital rates.

Its community initiatives include Bottega della Salute, which helps people access health, social, and public services, and Un Cuore per Amico, a school-based health education and prevention programme. The association also welcomes volunteers aged 16 to 80 and makes a community hall available for events and meetings.
