Misericordia di Malmantile

The Confraternity of Misericordia of Malmantile is a community-focused volunteer organization serving Malmantile and the surrounding area of Lastra a Signa, Italy. Originating as a local section of the Lastra a Signa Misericordia in 1991, it has grown around a mission of practical service and care for people in need.

Its activities include ambulance and emergency services, social support, and transport for people who need assistance, including those with disabilities or social vulnerabilities. The organization also runs a multipurpose center with five medical offices. Services include family doctors, specialist consultations, a pediatric clinic, a blood-testing point, and a CUP desk for booking health appointments. AVIS holds blood donation sessions at the center each month.

The confraternity supports older residents through community initiatives and encourages children and young people to explore volunteering through La Piccola Misericordia. It also offers volunteer training, including first-aid and emergency-vehicle driver courses, and hosts civil service projects. People can contribute through volunteering, donations, or the 5×1000 tax designation.
