» MISERICORDIA SANSEPOLCRO

Confraternita di Misericordia di Sansepolcro is a nonprofit volunteer organisation serving the community of Sansepolcro since 1338. Rooted in a tradition of mutual aid and charity, it supports people in need through health, social and community services. Its emergency service provides ambulance response and urgent care, including BLSD support, while routine and social-health transport helps people travel using appropriately equipped vehicles. The organisation also operates an outpatient clinic staffed by volunteer doctors.

Beyond healthcare, the Misericordia distributes food assistance and offers guidance and support to people facing hardship. As a territorial partner in the European Fund for Aid to the Most Deprived programme, it has distributed food parcels and provided accompanying measures for people in need. Its other activities include civil protection, a centre addressing usury, volunteer and community first-aid training, management of artistic heritage, and civil service opportunities. The organisation invites people to volunteer and works with local partners to assist residents, including through services such as home delivery of medicines and groceries during emergencies.
