Miskolci Gombász Egyesület (MIGE) is a dedicated association focused on the promotion and preservation of mushroom collecting in Hungary. Founded with a passion for mycology, MIGE provides a wealth of resources and activities for both novice and experienced mushroom enthusiasts. The association organizes various programs, including guided tours and exhibitions, to educate members about mushroom species, foraging rules, and the safe consumption of fungi.

MIGE also offers extensive literature, including mushroom identification books and recommendations for avoiding mushroom poisoning. Members can share their photographs and contributions to the community through a shared platform, enhancing the collective knowledge of mushroom types and their characteristics. The "Hónap gombái" feature highlights fascinating species accessible in different seasons.

Additionally, the association regularly updates its species list with the latest findings and organizes events that bring together mushroom lovers to learn and appreciate the diverse world of fungi. MIGE serves as a valuable hub for education, engagement, and the celebration of Hungary's rich mycological heritage.
