Welcome to missio München, the International Catholic Mission Society in Munich. As one of the German branches of the Pontifical Mission Societies, our mission is two-fold. First, we aim to raise and strengthen the missionary awareness of the faithful in Germany through learning, prayer, and solidarity.

Second, we provide financial and non-material support to local Churches in Africa, Asia, and Oceania. Our focus is on promoting pastoral care and the development of Church life. We support local Church initiatives that align with the Christian vision of the world, take into account local circumstances, promote ecumenical cooperation, and work towards justice, peace, and the integrity of creation.

At missio München, you can find a range of projects that aim to strengthen local Churches, provide education, ensure health services, create livelihoods, preserve the environment, and offer emergency relief.
