Mission18

Mission 18 is a campus-based community ecosystem in Elgin, Illinois, supporting adults with alternative abilities as they build skills, independence, confidence, and belonging. Its five-acre, fully accessible campus combines structured support with flexible, choice-centered programming for adults aged 22 and older. Programs include day activities, skills training, transition support, therapeutic services, yoga, fitness and recreation, and community events. The organization also offers retreats and team experiences that bring participants and community partners together.

Mission 18’s purpose-built spaces are available for community use and include multi-purpose program rooms, a full-size gymnasium, theater and performance space, a yoga and wellness studio, executive office spaces, and an outdoor athletic field. These facilities support gatherings, activities, and collaborative work while advancing the organization’s mission. Families, organizations, professionals, and other community members can connect through events, partnerships, and volunteer opportunities. Mission 18 also offers branded coffee and merchandise, and welcomes donations to help sustain and expand its work.
