Mission Mariposa is a collective of adolescent and young adult cancer survivors working to empower others, share personal stories, and destigmatize conversations about cancer. Powered by Discovery to Cure Foundation, the organization creates content and community experiences that support and educate people affected by the cancer experience. Its work includes the Butterfly Box, a curated care package designed to bring joy, encourage creativity, and inspire confidence.

Mission Mariposa also presents At the End of a Dance, a short documentary following a 21-year-old college student as she documents life after an ovarian cancer diagnosis and finds healing through dance. Through community events, online connections, and storytelling, the organization invites survivors to share experiences, find support, and build understanding around cancer diagnoses.
