About The Missouri Review
The Missouri Review is a renowned literary magazine that has been showcasing the best in fiction, essays, and poetry since its establishment in 1978. As one of the most highly regarded literary magazines in the United States, The Missouri Review has earned a reputation for discovering and publishing the very best writers first. Based at the University of Missouri, the magazine publishes four issues each year, each containing approximately five new stories, three new poetry features, and two essays.
With an open submission policy, The Missouri Review reads year-round, reviewing approximately 12,000 submissions annually from writers worldwide.
