Missy Wood Designs is a small woodworking business creating customized, handmade décor and signs from real wood. Each piece is personally cut, sanded, stained, and painted by the maker, using materials such as pine, maple, cedar, cypress, walnut, barn wood, and other available wood. Customers can get in touch to collaborate on a design for their home or as a special gift.
The product range includes boards and trays, designs inspired by lakes and towns, school and teacher items, and pieces for babies and children. Featured products include a Nola Kate ornament fundraiser and school photo frames for PreK through Grade 12, with multiple options available for the frames. Orders can be placed through the website using a credit card, or by Facebook message with payment via Venmo, PayPal, or Cash App. Delivery options include local delivery or pickup arrangements in Claiborne Parish, pickup at Time Travel Antiques & More on the Homer Square, and shipping for an additional fee. The business is named after the maker’s dachshund, Missy.
