It also offers dual power inputs, computer-based setup and diagnostics, and minimal manual setup required with the SmartChipTM interface. In addition, the system has various interfaces for electronically governed engines, throttle limit and clutch disable modes, fault/event logging with expanded data, and shaft brake control and stabilizer disable interfaces.

It operates with EC300 digital control heads and is suitable for up to six shaft lines and six control stations. The EC600PC from MIT Group is RoHS compliant and has type approvals and unit certification from major marine survey societies.
