About Moorish Islamic
The Moorish Science Temple of America, founded in 1913 by Prophet Noble Drew Ali, is a vibrant religious and cultural organization dedicated to the uplifting, education, and empowerment of its members within the Moorish Islamic community. Officially incorporated in 1926, the Temple has significantly influenced Islamic nationalism in North America, reaching its zenith in 1928 when a large percentage of the African American population engaged with its teachings.
