Mitra Kesehatan Masyarakat

Mitra Kesmas is an Indonesian public health information and education platform focused on helping communities and health workers understand practical health topics. Guided by the tagline “Healthy, prosperous, and working together,” the site publishes accessible articles on health promotion, disease prevention, primary care, nutrition, and community health services. Its coverage includes Indonesia’s Integrated Primary Care approach, the roles of promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative care, guidance on complementary foods for infants, and health education for older adults.

The platform also offers practical resources and tools. A body mass index calculator helps users assess their nutritional status and provides suggestions based on the result. Educational materials, including a PowerPoint presentation for older-adult health counseling, support community education activities. Articles share guidance for preparing effective health presentations and explain health concepts in straightforward terms. Content is authored by Amrin Madolan and is intended for a broad audience, including the public, health workers, community volunteers, and people involved in health education.
