Mittpunkten is a community meeting place in Höör, Sweden, bringing together a vegetarian café, a second-hand shop and a creative workshop. It welcomes people to meet, contribute and take part in activities, with the aim of creating a space for economic, environmental and social sustainability. The café and second-hand shop are open on Wednesdays from 11 a.
m. to 5 p. m.
and Saturdays from 11 a. m. to 3 p.
m., except on public holidays and during seasonal closures. Mittpunkten also hosts activities such as creative workshops, concerts and opportunities for community debate. A free shop is available at set times during the week and on Saturdays.
The organization describes the venue as a place shaped by the people involved, where everyone is needed and can contribute. Visitors can also get involved, rent a venue or arrange to perform. Located at Industrigatan 5, Mittpunkten offers local residents and visitors a welcoming setting for connection, reuse and community-led activities
