Asso Mldd

Maisons-Laffitte Développement Durable (MLDD) is an independent, nonprofit, citizen-led association working to advance environmental and social transition in Maisons-Laffitte and nearby communities, including Le Mesnil-le-Roi and Sartrouville. Founded in 2010, it focuses on practical, local initiatives and is funded by member contributions rather than public subsidies, preserving its independence. Its volunteer-led programs cover biodiversity, climate education, sustainable energy, active mobility, waste reduction, and health and food.

The communal Repair Café helps residents learn to repair everyday items, including small appliances, computers, clothing, and bicycles. MLDD also supports durable sewing workshops, shared composting, local and seasonal food, citizen nature surveys, educational botanical walks, and advice on home insulation in partnership with Énergies Solidaires. Through workshops and climate and digital literacy activities, the association helps people understand environmental issues and take action.

Members can also connect through Tous en SEL, a platform for local exchanges and shared services. MLDD welcomes residents, partner organizations, and local project leaders to participate, collaborate, and contribute their skills
