Matt Leinart Flag Football Network is a youth sports organization offering non-contact flag football in Orange County, California. Founded in Newport Beach in 2010, the league operates in conjunction with the NFL Flag Football program and serves boys and girls in kindergarten through eighth grade, welcoming players of all skill levels. Its goal is to make football an enjoyable way for children to build skills, confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a positive, community-focused setting.

League games are held on Friday nights during the fall, winter, and spring at locations across Orange County. The network lists programs in Fullerton, Huntington Beach, Mission Viejo, Irvine, Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, and South County, as well as Females in Flag OC, an all-girls league. Families can find information about upcoming programs, seasonal schedules, registration, rules, and calendars through the organization’s website. Camps are also offered, including skills-focused opportunities. Matt Leinart’s own introduction highlights flag football as the sport where he learned fundamentals, reinforcing the league’s emphasis on participation, development, and fun for young athletes.
