M Lifesaving Challenge is an Italian Ocean Lifesaving sports circuit combining athletic competition with community events. Its signature Ocean M challenge brings together swimming, board paddling and SurfSki in a multi-stage course designed to test endurance, technique and water skills. Events use direct-elimination heats of eight athletes, with the top four progressing through the rounds. The circuit also features public draws for the men’s and women’s brackets, individual prize money for leading finalists and a team competition recognizing participating clubs.
Beyond the races, M Lifesaving Challenge offers an event village with partner stands, opportunities to try boards and SurfSkis with instructors, street food, family activities, live results and race highlights. Its program may also include athlete coaching, talks, awards and a sunset DJ set.
