We acquired Vividthree Productions, a local post-production company specializing in 3D animation, visual effects, and computer-generated imagery.

Additionally, we acquired UnUsUaL Group of Companies, an event production and concert promotion company. Our commitment to growth led us to enter the film exhibition scene, acquiring Cathay Cineplexes Malaysia, Mega Cinemas, and adding thirteen Lotus Fivestar cinemas to our portfolio. Subsequently, we acquired Cathay Cineplexes in Singapore, becoming the only exhibitor operating cinemas in both Singapore and Malaysia.

With a total of 206 screens across 27 locations, we are the fourth-largest cinema operator in Malaysia. In 2017, mm2 Asia Ltd made history as the first local film production company to be listed on the SGX-ST Mainboard.
