About mmc-menzelen.de
Menzelener-Modell-Club e.V. (MMC) is a model aviation club based in Menzelen-Ost, in the municipality of Alpen, Germany. A registered association and member of the German Model Flying Association (DMFV), it brings together a friendly community of 80 adult and 16 youth members. The club’s model airfield is set on a site of approximately 14,000 square metres, providing members with a place to pursue model flying.
MMC supports people who are new to the hobby, welcoming both young people and adults to try model aviation. Its youth team guides younger members in building and flying model aircraft, shares practical knowledge, and helps them get started. Young members can also take part in regional DMFV competitions and, if qualified, the German Youth Championship. Adults receive hands-on help and encouragement from fellow club members as they learn.
Alongside information about membership, the airfield, and the club’s history, MMC’s website features event dates, photos and videos, youth-group information, and resources for visitors interested in model flying.
