About MNAHA
The Musée national d'archéologie, d'histoire et d'art (MNAHA) is a cultural institute established by the state in 1946 under the name "Musées de l'État. " It has the mission to study, preserve, and enhance national and international collections in the fields of archaeology, history, fine arts, and applied arts. The institute manages three museum sites - the Nationalmusée um Fëschmaart, the Musée Dräi Eechelen, and the Villa romaine Echternach - as well as two research centers: the Centre de documentation sur la forteresse de Luxembourg and the Lëtzebuerger Konschtarchiv.
The cultural institute also offers several digital platforms, including the digitized collections portal "Collections" and the educational platform "Schools. " The Nationalmusée um Fëschmaart presents archaeological, historical, and artistic collections of Luxembourg on over 6,000 square meters, while the Musée Dräi Eechelen explores the history of the Luxembourg fortress and its impact on the country. The Villa romaine Echternach showcases a Roman villa from the 1st to 5th centuries AD.
