Mn Artists is a platform created by the Walker Art Center, dedicated to supporting and nurturing Minnesota's local artist community. Through their various initiatives, Mn Artists connects locally-rooted artistic practices with national and international conversations in contemporary art. They also strive to showcase the vigor and vitality of the local arts scene.
With a focus on artistic risk, experimentation, and interdisciplinary forms of making, Mn Artists centers the arts of our time. Recently relaunched in 2021, their website mnartists. walkerart.
org features a wide range of content including essays, reviews, poetry, news, and conversations. It also serves as the most comprehensive listing of artist opportunities in the state. Mn Artists is committed to fostering constructive criticism and promoting professional discussion in the local arts ecosystem.
Additionally, they offer the Mn Artists Pass program, which provides affordable year-round access to the Walker Art Center for Minnesota-based artists
