MNY Fraternity

Mu Nu Upsilon (MNY) is a professional, co-ed fraternity focused on personal financial planning and financial wellness. Organized to promote the study of personal financial planning at universities across the country, it prepares students to become financial educators and ethical leaders who contribute to their professions and communities. Its work centers on three guiding principles: education, networking, and fundraising.

MNY supports members’ professional development from collegiate life through their careers, offering student-led activities, events with business and cultural leaders, and opportunities to mentor and be mentored. Members can build lasting friendships and connections with fellow students, alumni, and financial services professionals. The fraternity also encourages chapters to provide financial education and promote financial literacy in their communities. Each chapter is responsible for completing five community financial education events annually.

Service and philanthropy are central to the organization’s approach. Members contribute their time, skills, and resources to cultural and civic organizations, while student-sponsored events can connect financial services firms with community needs.
