RechtMobil is a digital service from mobee.nrw UG that helps passengers understand and use the Mobility Guarantee NRW when a local bus or train in North Rhine-Westphalia is at least 20 minutes late or cancelled. Its free, no-registration tool guides users through six steps: checking their route and eligibility, selecting the affected connection, reviewing relevant disruption information, and receiving a documented summary with instructions for applying for reimbursement.

Passengers may be able to continue their journey by taxi, ride-hailing or car-sharing services such as FreeNow and Miles, or by long-distance rail. The service explains applicable reimbursement limits and helps users prepare the required application and supporting evidence. It also provides information about eligible routes and tickets, exclusions, deadlines and other guarantee rules. Users submit their claim to the relevant transport operator, which alone decides whether to reimburse costs. RechtMobil offers practical guidance and documentation, but does not guarantee that a claim will be approved.
