About MobilePay
MobilePay is a digital payment service from Vipps MobilePay, designed to make everyday payments and money transfers simple and secure. In Finland, users can send and receive money between friends, pay more than 50,000 businesses in person or online, and make contactless payments with the app. The service also supports transfers to users of MobilePay and Vipps in other Nordic countries.
Beyond payments, MobilePay offers tools for sharing group expenses, collecting money for a shared goal, and sending cash gifts immediately or at a scheduled time. Users can create wish lists to share with family and friends, add a K-Plussa loyalty card to collect benefits at checkout, and use a MobilePay balance for transfers and purchases. Klarna can also be added as an online payment option. MobilePay is available to young people under 15, subject to the service’s setup requirements.
