About MOCA Jamaica
The Major Organised Crime & Anti-Corruption Agency (MOCA) is an independent law enforcement entity dedicated to combating corruption and organized crime in Jamaica. Formed in 2014 through the merger of the Anti-Corruption Branch and the Major Organised Crime Taskforce, MOCA focuses on disrupting high-value criminal networks and confronting public sector corruption. The agency aims to enhance governance and security by employing diverse strategies, including proactive investigation, public awareness initiatives, and international collaboration.
MOCA's mission emphasizes the identification and targeting of major organized criminal networks while fostering a culture of integrity, professionalism, and accountability. Since achieving full independence in 2021, MOCA continues to uphold its elite status in law enforcement. Among its strategic priorities are tackling economic crimes and cyber threats, as well as generating public support through effective communication. Whether through reporting corruption or engaging in community outreach, MOCA actively works to take the profit out of organized crime and promote a safer, more secure Jamaica.
