ModelGate is a Russian-accessible platform that provides one OpenAI-compatible API for working with more than 100 large language models and related AI services. Developers can connect using the familiar OpenAI SDK or an HTTP client, often by changing the API base URL, and manage multiple projects with separate keys and spending limits. The catalog includes text and vision models from providers such as OpenAI, Google, DeepSeek, and Anthropic, as well as models from MoonshotAI and ByteDance. ModelGate also offers embedding tools, image generation, and audio transcription, with options ranging from budget models to higher-end systems.

Customers pay in rubles for usage, with charges based on tokens or, for some services, generated images or audio duration. Balances can be topped up by bank card or Russia’s SBP payment system; registration does not require a linked card. The service provides a browser-based chat for trying models, generating images, and comparing results without an API key. ModelGate also offers documentation, model ratings, account management, and customer support.
