Modellbahn-Treff Bäretswil is a youth model railway project in Bäretswil, in Switzerland’s Zürcher Oberland region. Designed for children and young people, the initiative invites participants to plan, build and operate a model railway together. Its 60-square-metre layout uses N gauge, and children can control trains with a smartphone, combining practical railway modelling with technology. More than 100 young people have contributed to the project, supported by a team of leaders and assistant leaders with model railway experience.

The programme is intended for children roughly aged 8 to 15, with the site highlighting an ideal age range of 8 to 14. Participation is available every week, every two weeks or once a month, subject to availability and registration. Parents make an annual supporter contribution according to the chosen frequency; the website lists the current amounts and planned increases from 2027. The organisation also shares photographs and videos documenting construction progress and provides information for parents and children. Modellbahn-Treff is based at Zelglistrasse 24–26 in Bäretswil.
