About Modellflieger Schwalbach
Modellflieger Schwalbach a. Ts. e.
V. is a model aviation club and member of the German Model Flying Association (DMFV). Based at an airfield beside the former Camp Phoenix airport, the club brings together more than 80 members of different nationalities and nearly all age groups, united by an enthusiasm for flying.
Members enjoy a wide range of model aircraft, from fast or slow designs made of wood, carbon, or foam to gliders, jets, warbirds, and helicopters. The club encourages pilots of all experience levels to share knowledge and enjoy time together at the flying field. Its activities also include an expanding youth program, with preparation and training for young flyers and participation in club and external flying competitions.
Members travel together to trade fairs, other airfields, and aviation events, where they compete and meet fellow model flying clubs. The airfield remains the center of the club’s activities, offering a place for flying, learning, exchanging experience, and building community
