About Name
Modelmatic is a unique, one-person business founded by Jon Irvine in 2011, based in York, UK. The venture began out of Jon's personal quest to find a diverse selection of diecast cars for his eldest son, as he noticed that the best models were often hard to come by outside the U. S.
Initially offering only 1:64 scale cars, Modelmatic has since expanded its range to include popular brands like Hot Wheels and Greenlight Collectibles, as well as premium options such as Tarmac Works and Inno64. Jon's background in web design and e-commerce has allowed him to master SEO, logistics, and customer fulfillment, enhancing the shopping experience. Modelmatic takes pride in its competitive pricing, with free UK delivery on orders over £50.
The shop also features a range of accessories, including buildings, dioramas, and protective cases. Although space is limited for new stock, Jon remains committed to finding exciting new additions for collectors at any scale
