About Modern agriculture
The Modern Agriculture Foundation (MAF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting sustainable and compassionate protein sources. Their mission is to accelerate the growth of the alternative protein ecosystem, foster innovation, and create a collaborative community in Israel and beyond. MAF actively supports Foodtech startups and leads the Middle East's only alternative proteins accelerator.
With a focus on developing sustainable alternatives to animal proteins, MAF aims to address pressing global issues such as climate change, animal suffering, and world hunger. They offer various ways for individuals and businesses to get involved, including volunteering, donating, and sponsoring. MAF's featured projects include the Better Plate Accelerator, which focuses on alternative protein innovation, and the Leading Women in Israeli Foodtech Awards, which recognizes and celebrates women working towards a better future in Foodtech.
