ModernEDI is a browser-first platform that helps technical teams connect trading partners and turn X12 EDI documents into data their applications can use. It provides hosted AS2 connectivity and tools to map X12 to JSON or XML, and back again. Teams can explore the live mapper without signing up, inspect document values and their source, and review maps before deployment.

The platform brings transaction activity together, including original X12 documents, AS2 receipts, mapped outputs, acknowledgments, and related replies. Teams can investigate exceptions, replay traffic, and connect document flows to their systems through an Integration API, polling, or webhooks. ModernEDI also supports partner setup, test and production AS2 profiles, and guidance for verifying the first live documents.

Self-serve plans start at $99 per month and vary by partner connectivity requirements, including HTTP support and fixed network addresses. Plans include mapping and transaction visibility, with up to 2,000 AS2 messages per day; Enterprise offers a negotiated option without that daily limit.
