About Modern Potters
Modern Potters is a queer-owned small business serving potters, glass and metal workers, and artists with pottery equipment, supplies, and practical expertise. The team describes itself as made up of potters, offering advice grounded in hands-on experience rather than a sales pitch. Its online store features electric, gas, Raku, glass, industrial, front-loading, beginner, and small pottery kilns, as well as dual-media and DPF kilns.
Customers can browse brands including Olympic, Evenheat, Jen-Ken, and Cress, with selected in-stock and quick-ship models advertised for delivery within one to three weeks. Modern Potters also sells pottery wheels from Speedball Art and Soldner, plus equipment such as pugmills, clay mixers, and wedging tables. The company offers free shipping to the contiguous United States, easy returns, a price-beat guarantee, and financing options.
Customers can contact the team by phone or email, explore its pottery blog, request a quote, or use its kiln-finding quiz to help choose equipment
