MODHIP (Ministry of Defence Health Implementation Programme) is a collaborative initiative between the Nigerian Ministry of Defence and the U. S. Department of Defense, dedicated to combating infectious diseases within the armed forces.

Established in December 2005, MODHIP operates in 46 military health facilities across Nigeria, providing comprehensive services including HIV prevention, treatment, and emerging infectious disease interventions. The program emphasizes innovative public health solutions and quality clinical research, aiming to improve health outcomes for both military personnel and civilians. Key services offered by MODHIP encompass training of healthcare providers, advanced laboratory diagnostics, and strategic logistics.

With a mission to deliver impactful health interventions, MODHIP partners with technology leaders to enhance service delivery and research capabilities. Led by Brig Gen Nathan Okeji, a seasoned consultant in obstetrics and public health, MODHIP is committed to elevating healthcare standards in Nigeria. Celebrated for its achievements in youth health support and COVID-19 response, MODHIP continues to pioneer initiatives that foster better health practices within military and civilian sectors
