ModRen Rugs Inc. brings the artistry of historic French carpet making into contemporary interiors through a curated collection of hand-woven rugs and tapestries. Its offerings include Aubusson and Savonnerie rugs, French tapestries, Abadjian Legendary Carpets, Persian-transitional and contemporary designs, runners, and needlepoint and petit-point rugs. The collection includes new and antique pieces, alongside bespoke commissions for customers seeking a tailored design.
The company draws on the traditions of Aubusson and Savonnerie, whose celebrated carpets were shaped by France’s royal and decorative arts history. ModRen says its Aubusson reproductions are made in China with the assistance of French artisans, using historic hand-woven techniques. Its Savonnerie carpets are hand-knotted with dyes and wool on a cotton foundation, woven in China under French artisans’ supervision.
Based in New Jersey, ModRen offers expert curation and room-setting inspiration to help customers explore its collections. International orders ship through FedEx, UPS, and DHL, with most deliveries reported to arrive within three to five days.
