Moen Wrestling

Moen Wrestling Academy (MWA) is an Iowa-based wrestling school founded in 2019 to help young athletes build skills, confidence, and character. It serves youth, middle school, and high school wrestlers, offering structured training for beginners through varsity and college-track competitors. Programs include youth memberships for grades K–8, high school pre-season and full-season memberships for grades 9–12, summer camps, and freestyle and Greco-Roman options. The academy also provides scheduled practices and opportunities to prepare for tournaments, including Super 32.

MWA emphasizes disciplined, age-appropriate coaching in a supportive, high-standard environment, with a focus on development both on and off the mat. Founder and head coach TJ Moen is a two-time NJCAA All-American and has coached college All-Americans and a national champion. The coaching staff brings competitive achievements and youth-club experience to its technical instruction and mentorship. The academy reports training more than 1,000 wrestlers, producing 43 state champions and 61 All-Americans, and supporting 21 college commits. It also hosts a golf outing.
