About Moffett Golf
The Golf Club at Moffett Field is a hidden gem in Mountain View, CA, offering a unique golfing experience. Originally managed by the Navy, Air Force, and NASA, it is now managed by OB Sports/Troon Golf. With its location at the NASA-leased Moffett Federal Airfield, the course sits adjacent to iconic Hangar 1 and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and San Francisco Bay.
Designed by Bob E. Baldock, the course boasts 18-holes measuring 6,572 yards from the furthest back Blue tees. It features kikuyu grass fairways and roughs, as well as poa annua greens.
The Golf Club at Moffett Field is known for its well-maintained greens, making it a favorite among golfers in the Bay Area. Aside from golf, visitors can explore the adjacent Historical Society Museum to learn about the rich history of Moffett Field. The course is also home to several Burrowing Owl preserves.
