About MOFGA
The Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association (MOFGA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting organic agriculture in Maine. Through tax-deductible donations, MOFGA is able to support a range of programs and initiatives that benefit farmers, producers, gardeners, homesteaders, and eaters in the state. By becoming a member or making a donation, you can help fund the organization's educational workshops, events, and initiatives.
These include the annual Common Ground Country Fair and Farm and Homestead Day, as well as numerous training programs and resources for both experienced and aspiring farmers. MOFGA also offers resources and information on organic farming, livestock management, orcharding, lawncare, and preserving harvests. Their publications, such as The Maine Organic Farmer & Gardener, provide valuable insights and guidance for organic producers.
As a 501(c)3 non-profit, MOFGA relies on the support of individuals and organizations invested in the work of promoting sustainable agriculture. Your contribution can make a difference in building a sustainable future for Maine farms
