MO Fulnek

The Czech Fishing Union, Fulnek Local Organization, is a community-based branch of the Czech Fishing Union serving anglers and local waters in and around Fulnek. Its website provides practical information for members and visitors, including news, fishing grounds, permit prices, documents, contacts and photo galleries. The organization administers local fishing opportunities, including the Husí potok waters and the Děrné reservoir, and shares updates on regulations, access restrictions and permit distribution.

Its work extends beyond angling administration to caring for fish populations and aquatic habitats. Activities reported by the organization include stocking waters with fish such as brown trout and young eel, supporting pike-perch spawning, and carrying out rescue fish transfers when construction or other conditions threaten fish. Members also undertake maintenance around the Děrné reservoir. The local organization encourages younger generations through a children’s fishing club and annual fishing competitions for children and teenagers. By combining fisheries management, conservation efforts, member services and youth activities, it supports recreational fishing and local community involvement in Fulnek.
