Mogenstrup-Jagtforening

Mogenstrup Jagtforening is a local hunting association that brings members together for hunting, shooting practice, conservation-related work and social events. Its calendar features organized hunts in Plomgård Plantage, including coffee and tracking-dog outings, as well as scheduled roe deer and fallow deer hunting opportunities in the association’s woodland. Access to some hunts is allocated by lottery, with published participation limits and fees.

The association also runs target-shooting activities at Trandum, including hunting shooting, hunter’s trap and annual cup competitions, and hosts a spring gathering for roe deer hunters. Members can take part in woodland workdays, an annual general meeting and a trophy evening, often accompanied by a shared meal. The website provides event updates, a calendar, photo galleries, meeting minutes, board information, statutes, privacy information and ways to contact the association or subscribe to its newsletter.

Mogenstrup Jagtforening serves as a community hub for hunters, combining practical sporting activities with shared traditions and opportunities to participate in local hunts
