Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, established in 1991 in South Africa, is a dedicated haven for injured and orphaned wildlife. Founded by Brian Jones with the support of local businessman Mr. Strijdom, the Centre has grown significantly, becoming a vital resource for animal rescue and conservation education. Moholoholo rehabilitates a diverse range of species, including leopards, cheetahs, and various birds, striving to raise awareness about the challenges faced by Africa’s wildlife.
In addition to rehabilitation, Moholoholo offers various services, including guided tours and educational programs for schools, aiming to enlighten visitors on conservation issues. The Centre also features a Forest Camp and venue options for weddings and functions, providing an immersive wildlife experience.
Engaged in research on leopards and vultures, Moholoholo contributes to vital studies in wildlife movement and species preservation. With a mission to protect and educate, Moholoholo is a crucial player in fostering a sustainable relationship between humans and the environment.
