About Mokulele Airlines
Mokulele Airlines, founded in 1994 as Mokulele Flight Service by Rebecca Kawehi Inaba, is a leading airline operating scheduled flights in both California and Hawaii. With almost 160 daily departures, Mokulele and Southern Airlines offer seamless travel experiences within the Hawaiian Islands. As a symbol of our commitment to innovation, we are excited to introduce our new all-electric seagliders, coming soon to select cities in 2026.
In keeping with our Hawaiian heritage, the word Mokulele has a dual meaning: airline and island hopper. Our mission is to connect Hawaii's smallest communities, including Hana, Waimea, Kapalua, Kalealoa, and Kalaupapa, by providing essential flight services. We are also proud to extend our services to Southern California, offering affordable air travel to El Centro/Imperial, Los Angeles, and Santa Maria.
