Molifaks

Molifaks is a Danish toy company founded by Poul Kjær Torbensen, developing a creative construction and bead-play system for children aged five and up. Its concept combines traditional fuse beads with reusable connectors, allowing beads to attach on top of, inside, or beside one another. This three-in-one approach supports building in three dimensions, creating custom bead boards, and combining pieces with other materials to make imaginative projects.

The planned core components include tube beads in several sizes, connector modules arranged in different patterns, and plates for joining modules. Children can use the system to build models such as vehicles, houses, castles, and towers, or design bead-board images tailored to their ideas. Molifaks can also be incorporated into projects such as ball runs, carousels, and Ferris wheels, with optional additions like lights.

The beads are designed to stay in place without ironing and can be removed and reused. The materials described for the planned products are polyethylene blended with EVA and nylon 6.6, with bioplastics a longer-term ambition.
