The Molly Ann Tango Memorial Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children with special needs and supporting their families. Founded in March 2004 by Molly’s parents, Todd Tango and Cathy Tango-Dykes, the Foundation honors Molly, who died at age 10 in December 2003. Since its founding, it has helped families in Connecticut and Westchester County, New York, by offering guidance and financial assistance.
The Foundation provides or helps fund products and services tailored to children’s needs. Support has included adaptive lift systems, safety equipment, wheelchair ramps and wheelchairs, medical equipment, bathroom modifications, accessible home renovations, and tuition for summer camps. Its assistance aims to help families address practical challenges and give children greater access to appropriate equipment, accommodations, and experiences.
The organization also shares resources and stories about the families it serves, and hosts fundraising events, including an annual Mother’s Day luncheon. Donations help finance needed support for local children and families.
