Fondation Mon Ami Guelord (FdMGue) is a non-governmental organization dedicated to improving the socio-sanitary conditions in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo. We are a group of young individuals from Belgium, Italy, and the DRC, united in our mission to establish a sustainable healthcare system in the peripheral areas of Kinshasa. Our team was moved by the poor socio-sanitary situation in the Congo, which has led to high mortality rates, particularly among women and children, due to inefficient primary and secondary healthcare processes.

To address this issue, our approach involves collaborating with the Congolese population and existing socio-sanitary actors in Kinshasa to establish an effective early detection system for health risks and implement appropriate prevention measures. We also engage various stakeholders in healthcare to adhere to the World Health Organization's guidelines for specific pathologies. Ultimately, we aim to promote health, which is a fundamental right for every human being.
