Monchard Watches is a brand founded by Oskar Gydell and Jonathan Belvér, two friends who turned a passion project into a full-time job. Their journey started during university when they decided to create a watch as a school project. This initial spark led to the birth of Monchard Watches, a brand dedicated to designing timepieces that reflect their love for intricate mechanical craftsmanship.
Oskar, with a background in skating and a knack for photography and jewellery making, brings a meticulous eye for detail to the brand. Jonathan, a former DJ and maritime captain, infuses his passion for vintage cars and design into the watchmaking process. Together, they strive to create high-quality watches that they themselves would love to wear.
