The American Center for Mongolian Studies (ACMS) is a private, non-profit educational organization that promotes academic projects and exchanges in Mongolia and the Inner Asian region. Since its establishment in 2002, ACMS has contributed over $6 million to support Mongolian Studies programs. This includes providing field research opportunities and academic exchange fellowships to more than 300 scholars from the United States, Mongolia, and other countries.

ACMS is a consortium of over 40 academic institutions involved in Mongolian Studies and has more than 360 individual student and scholar members. With a dedicated YouTube channel containing 75 videos and over 28,000 views, ACMS actively shares informative content. The Research Library at the ACMS Center in Ulaanbaatar houses one of the largest English language collections on Mongolia, with over 5,000 volumes.

The library is open to researchers from all countries. The ACMS organizes various programs including fellowship programs, Speaker Series events, academic conferences, workshops, and study tours. These initiatives aim to support scholars, bridge cultures, and increase Americans' knowledge of Inner Asia and the Mongolian language.
