Monoski

Centrum handicapovaných lyžařů is a Czech organization dedicated to making skiing accessible to people with physical disabilities, regardless of age or sports-association membership. Its work combines public instruction, athlete development and competition, providing opportunities for participants with different levels of experience and sporting ambition.

The Centre organizes adaptive skiing courses for the public and offers information about course types, dates, prices and registration. It also runs a sports group that prepares Czech athletes for international competitions, with training camps and support for para-alpine skiing. Its athletes have represented the Czech Republic at major events, including the 2026 Winter Paralympic Games.

Since 2007, the organization has held Czech national championships and international competitions in the Czech Republic. It also contributes to international racing through events such as the PARA ALPINE Visegrad Cup. Alongside its programs and events, the Centre shares resources about adaptive equipment, including monoski and biski, and has offered used equipment for sale. Based in Janské Lázně, it brings together instruction, sports preparation and competition for adaptive skiers.
